Boganzi's entrance music is CkY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mishima is looking to chop away at Boganzi's legs.
Boganzi misses with a two punch combination.
Mishima should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mishima throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boganzi throws a left and a right that both miss

so Mishima counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Boganzi has control of Mishima's left arm, preventing Mishima from doing any damage.
Mishima prevents Boganzi from getting back to his feet.
Boganzi has a closed guard, preventing Mishima from standing up.
Boganzi wants to get back to his feet but Mishima is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mishima misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

It looks like Heihachi Mishima has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mishima keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Boganzi throws a nice looking combination but Mishima bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Boganzi misses with a double jab.

Boganzi darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Boganzi winds up and cracks Mishima with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Boganzi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Boganzi stands up out of the half guard.
Boganzi throws a series of strikes that have Mishima backpedaling.

Mishima tries to keep at a distance but Boganzi has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mishima keeps control of Boganzi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mishima breaks the clinch.
Mishima throws a front kick that sends Boganzi stumbling back into the cage.

Mishima feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Boganzi wants to stand but Mishima is controlling the position.

Boganzi pushes Mishima off and scrambles back to his feet.
Boganzi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mishima.
Boganzi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mishima counters with a takedown into side control.
Boganzi is looking to reverse the position.
Mishima controlling from side mount.
Mishima is looking to take a break and control but Boganzi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mishima is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Boganzi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Boganzi wants to get back to his feet.
Mishima controlling from side mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boganzi tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Mishima landing strikes.
A lull in the action here.
Boganzi tries to escape but Mishima is in control.
Mishima trying to control the position but Boganzi is working away.
Boganzi is trying to control Mishima's posture but Mishima avoids it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nice combo by Boganzi! Oh, that's hurt him - Mishima falls to the canvas and Boganzi follows him into side control.

Boganzi decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Boganzi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mishima.
Mishima seems to have recovered his senses.

Boganzi closes the distance and clinches.
Mishima wants a takedown.
Konoe Boganzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heihachi Mishima.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mishima will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mishima connects with a solid leg kick.
Mishima moves in looking to clinch but Boganzi pushes him off.
Mishima throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mishima darts in and clinches Boganzi up against the cage.
Boganzi can't get the takedown.

Mishima breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mishima scoring well with a low kick there.

Mishima throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boganzi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mishima. That did some damage!
Boganzi is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Mishima hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
