Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sydney Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Luca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luca avoids the body shot from Fighter.
Luca now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Fighter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Luca throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch lands to the side of Fighter 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Luca is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fighter.
Fighter is looking to counter punch.
Luca connects with a crisp jab.
Fighter takes a swing at Luca's ribcage but misses.
Fighter moves out of range of the strikes.
A quick step to the side and Fighter tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Luca counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Luca misses with a jab, cross combination.
Luca just misses with a punch to the body.
Luca throws a body shot but no joy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Danga de danga de dang - Luca scores with a four punch combination!
Fighter throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Luca lands with a good body shot.
Luca throws a jab but it's blocked by Fighter.
Fighter swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Fighter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Luca throws a series of punches but Fighter avoids them all with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luca takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fighters circling - Fighter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fighter showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Luca.
Fighter is looking to counter punch.
Luca fails with an attempt to clinch.
Luca tries to clinch there but Fighter circles away.
Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Luca moves away.
Luca lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Luca ducks under a wild hook from Fighter.
Luca swings for the body but Fighter moves out of range.
Fighter's corner calls for a 1-2. Fighter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Fighter lands a really nice looking cross but Luca seems unphased.
Fighter slips a straight right by Luca.
Luca misses with a wild combination.
Fighter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Fighter tests Luca's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A shot to the body from Luca misses
and Fighter scores with a counter punch that sends Luca to the canvas! Fighter smells blood - he's punishing Luca with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Luca has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
