Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sexton Hardcastle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardcastle has chosen How I Could Just Kill a Man- Rage Against the Machine as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardcastle blocks a head kick by Dawson.
Hardcastle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Hardcastle feints and as Dawson raises his hands in defense, Hardcastle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dawson wants to stand and escape but Hardcastle is having none of it.
Hardcastle forces his way into half guard.

Hardcastle is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dawson is just riding it out for now. Hardcastle eventually gives up the hold.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hardcastle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hardcastle cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Dawson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dawson tries to get out of the position.

Dawson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Hardcastle tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hardcastle won't let Dawson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Hardcastle has control of Dawson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dawson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Dawson is in a horrible position here. Hardcastle smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dawson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Hardcastle is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Hardcastle!
