The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice digs a good hook to Massey's body.
Massey blocks a head kick by Slice.
Slice tries to clinch there but Massey circles away.
As Slice tries to get set, Massey tries to push him back and clinch up but Slice manages to avoid the attempt.
Slice throws a right and a left that Massey avoids nicely.
Massey seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A combination from Massey does no damage.
Slice shoots in but no luck this time.
Slice looks for a takedown but Massey sprawls well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Massey shoots in looking for a takedown. Slice tries to sprawl out of it but Massey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slice manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Slice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Massey as he avoids it easily.

As Slice looks to move away, Massey throws a big counter combo but Slice just gets out of the way.

Massey seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Slice's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Slice shoots for a takedown but Massey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Slice fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Massey, pushing him back against the cage.

Slice pushes off an throws an elbow but Massey leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Slice's face as he tries to break the clinch.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Slice is pushing Massey up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Massey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slice walks away with a smile on his face. Massey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Slice bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Hassan Massey has been cut.
Slice misses the shot to the body.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Slice feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Masseys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kimbo Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Massey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Massey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Massey off to one side.
Slice lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Massey circles away quickly and effectively.

Massey stands up over Slice, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Massey's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Slice bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Massey's guard.

Massey is looking to stand up but Slice isn't so interested in that idea.
Massey has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Slice is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Massey on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Massey tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Massey trying to control the position but instead, Slice has worked for underhooks and has pushed Massey into the cage.
