Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McManus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Wittman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wittman gets a takedown into half guard.
Wittman wants to free his trapped foot but McManus is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wittman prevents McManus from improving his position.
Wittman trying to control from half guard but McManus is working away.
McManus is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
McManus tries to kick Wittman off but Wittman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
McManus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McManus is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Wittman pulls his head out easily.
Wittman tries to pass to full mount but McManus defends it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wittman has a takedown stuffed.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wittman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McManus's guard.
McManus doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

McManus uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Wittman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McManus swivels and escapes.

John McManus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Wittman.

Wittman closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
McManus is trying to stand up here but Wittman is controlling him well.

McManus looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Wittman slows the pace down in half guard.
Wittman looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wittman prevents McManus from standing back up.
McManus is looking to control Wittman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McManus avoid being mounted?
Wittman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
McManus tries to get to full guard but Wittman has control of the leg.
Wittman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Wittman is trying for a kimura here. McManus looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Wittman wins by kimura!
