Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clinton Smaxsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ringo Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smaxsons kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "X Gonna Give It To You" by DMX. The key to victory for Clinton Smaxsons has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Starr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Smaxsons on his heels. He'll look to pass Smaxsons's guard now, I'm sure.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Smaxsons leaves Starr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Smaxsons on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Smaxsons throws a hook to the side of Starr's head but Starr sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smaxsons lands a nice shot to the body.
Smaxsons tries to close the distance and clinch but Starr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Clinton Smaxsons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Smaxsons as Starr shoots in.
Clinton Smaxsons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ringo Starr.

Smaxsons drops Starr with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Starr looks back up at him and smiles so Smaxsons waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Starr gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Smaxsons gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
