Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barrera rushes Dominguez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Barrera closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dominguez to the mat! Dominguez manages to get full guard.
Barrera is breathing heavily.
Barrera wants to control from the top but Dominguez keeps moving.
Dominguez pulls Barrera in close to prevent any damage.
Dominguez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dominguez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barrera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dominguez somewhat.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dominguez holds on and takes a little breather.
