Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zachery Guy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glo Kem!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy clinches with his opponent.
Guy is pushing Kem up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Guy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kem smiles and moves away.
Guy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ground and pound from Guy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kem wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kem tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Guy has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Kem manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Kem wants to get back to full guard but Guy has passed into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kem is looking to reverse the position.
Kem is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kem takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Kem is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Guy off and has taken his back!

Guy has hold of Kem's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.
Kem keeps control of the position as Guy tries to break free.

Guy wants to control his opponent's hands but Kem gets his hands free.

Guy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Kem counters with a nice uppercut.
Guy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kem makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kem.
Kem is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guy defends well.
Guy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Guy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Guy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kem looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Guy passes into side control.
Kem is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kem gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Guy winds up and cracks Kem with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kem is looking for a sweep. Guy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kem has his foot on Guy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guy works his way back into a safe position though.
Guy stands and steps away. Kem gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Guy connects with a nice short shot to Kem's temple.
Kem wants to improve his position but Guy is controlling well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee asks Guy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Guy prefers to stall for the moment though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zachery Guy will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Guy cracks Kem with a big right hand but Kem just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kem tries to buck Guy off but Guy is having none of it.

Guy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kem can do to turn this around?
Guy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kem is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Guy scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Guy stays in close to Kem's body and controls the position.
Zachery Guy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Guy stands up and waves to Kem to follow him.
Guy tries a head kick but it misses.
Kem is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Guy with a body shot.

Horrible takedown attempt by Guy or perhaps it was just good defense by Kem, which made it look bad.
A nice side step and Kem releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by Kem.
A countering left hand to the body from Kem misses.
Guy with a poor takedown
and Kem counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Guy.
Kem let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
And that's the end of the fight!
Zachery Guy showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Guy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
