Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Lukas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Delled Bode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Lukas has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Delled Bode!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bode fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lukas, pushing him back against the cage.

Bode wants the takedown. Lukas is fighting it off but Bode persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lukas's guard against the cage.
Lukas is trying to control the position but Bode postures up.
Lukas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bode's guard.

Bode controlling Lukas's posture.
Lukas wants to control from the top but Bode keeps moving.
Bode really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lukas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lukas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Bode is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bode wants to sweep but no luck.
Lukas wants to control from the top but Bode keeps moving.
Bode pulls Lukas in close to his closed guard and prevents Lukas from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bode can't keep his opponent in guard - Lukas advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bode is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Lukas is trying to control. Bode wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Lukas content to control rather than advance.
Bode is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bode closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lukas did well to prevent Bode getting side control.

Lukas is trying to maintain the position but Bode is very close to passing his half guard.
Lukas tries to roll over but Bode keeps him under control.
Bode is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bode is thwarting Lukas's attempts to control the position.

Lukas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lukas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bode is working away from the top position though.

Bode shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lukas is trying to defend but Bode finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bode wants to take the fight to the mat but Lukas manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lukas landing knees to the body.
Bode tries to pull guard but Lukas holds him up against the cage and eventually Bode drops back down to his feet.
Lukas is looking to control Bode's arms but Bode gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lukas has his back to the cage.
Bode is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lukas lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Lukas goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bode prevents it.

Bode thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Lukas passes Bode's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Lukas wants to control but Bode is keeping him busy.
Delled Bode has got the better of the ground game so far.

Lukas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bode does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lukas breaks from Bode's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lukas scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Bode tries to reverse the position but Lukas maintains control.

Lukas is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bode has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lukas won't let Bode get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Lukas is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lukas wants to clinch up but Bode keeps it at a distance.
Lukas fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lukas tries to clinch but Bode is having none of it.

Lukas shoots for a double leg takedown but Bode sprawls well. He's pushed Lukas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lukas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bode is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lukas wants to stand but Bode is controlling the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lukas is on top in guard.

Bode pulls Lukas in close to prevent any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bode is looking for a triangle here but Lukas uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Lukas is looking to take a break and control but Bode is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bode is looking for a sweep.
Lukas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bode keeps working.
Bode is trying to control Lukas's posture but Lukas avoids it.
Bode wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Oliver Lukas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lukas.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Lukas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lukas throws a front kick that sends Bode stumbling back into the cage.
Lukas fakes the leg kick and cracks Bode in the body.
Bode lunges at Lukas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lukas's hand.
Bode pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lukas is out of range and Bode settles back down.

Bode clinches with his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bode letting Lukas take a breather here.
Lukas has Bode pressed against the cage, preventing Bode from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

And that's the end of the fight!
Delled Bode comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
