Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Loon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotten's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lynard Skynard- Simple Man. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Rotten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Loon!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotten tries to close the distance and clinch but Loon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rotten moves into the clinch.
Loon avoids the elbow strike from Rotten, against the cage.

Loon pulls guard.

Loon is looking for a triangle but Rotten pushes his legs off easily.

Loon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rotten gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Loon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Rotten stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rotten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Loon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Loon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Eddy Rotten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Loon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Kyle Loon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Loon keeps the fight on the outside.
Rotten tries to close the distance and clinch but Loon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Loon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Rotten takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Rotten shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Loon pinned against the cage. Loon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rotten has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Loon finds it's way round the side to connect with Rotten's head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Eddy Rotten will probably get the nod.
