Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uber Balance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toni Huerta will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta throws a right hand that Balance ducks under and follows up with a left that Balance also avoids with ease.
Huerta throws a nice looking combination but Balance bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Balance uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Huerta.
Balance throws a sloppy head kick and Huerta moves out of range easily.
Huerta throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Huerta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balance moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Huerta throws a series of punches but Balance moves out of range.

Huerta swats away the attempt to clinch by Balance.

Balance is looking to score with low kicks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Huerta sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Huerta is desperately trying to improve his position but Balance has a good base and remains in mount.
Balance manages to capitalize on a mistake by Huerta to take his back!

Huerta manages to reverse the position and now he's in Balance's guard. Nice work there by Huerta.

Huerta drops back looking for a leg! Balance is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Balance manages to kick Huerta off! Huerta jumps back into Balance's guard.
Huerta forces his way into half guard.
Huerta wants to control but Balance is keeping him busy.
Balance is trying to control but can't.
Balance is breathing heavily.

Huerta is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Huerta is trying to work for a kimura but Balance is defending well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Huerta is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Huerta is looking for a kimura but Balance is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Huerta to get the leverage.

Huerta seems to be working for a kimura but Balance defends the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Balance is pressing down on Huerta's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Good leg kick by Balance there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Balance fails with an attempt to clinch.
Huerta throws a series of strikes that have Balance backpedaling.

It looks like Uber Balance has been cut.
Balance throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Huerta throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Balance.
Balance lands with a kick to the temple. Huerta shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Huerta connects with a looping right hand.
Huerta throws a right and a left that both miss.
Huerta will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Huerta lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Balance is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Huerta misses with a jab, cross combination.
Huerta bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Balance! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Oh Balance is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Huerta is stalling in the full guard.

Balance seems to have got his legs back now.
