Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pius Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Cross told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Cross fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ho sprawls well initially but Cross persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Cross seems to be working for a kimura but Ho defends the submission attempt.
Ho wants to get back to full guard.
Ho controlling the position well.
Cross wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ho keeps working.

Ho is defending against the submission attempts here by Cross.

Cross is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
