Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bret Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhon Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison has chosen aint not make belive as his entrance music. Jhon Morrison has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bret Bauer's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bauer was covering up waiting for the punch and Morrison finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bauer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morrison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morrison being controlled here momentarily.
Bauer wants to stand up but Morrison is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bauer looking for a sweep. Not yet Bauer, not yet.
Morrison wants to control from the top but Bauer keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Morrison has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bauer is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Morrison looks winded!
Morrison showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bauer.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bauer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morrison fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bauer to the ground. Morrison is now in Bauer's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morrison is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Bauer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Morrison is looking to defend but Bauer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Morrison! Bauer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Morrison taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bret Bauer!
