Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andres Mcfadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barracus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfadden misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Jones looks to land a combination but Mcfadden avoids it well.
Jones misses with a low kick.
Mcfadden lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mcfadden scores with a kick to the midsection.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jones landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Mcfadden tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Jones working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Jones wants to control but Mcfadden is keeping him busy.
Mcfadden tries to improve position but can't.

Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mcfadden doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.

Mcfadden has his hands clasped together around Jones's back. He's all about the action.
Jones is keen to just control but Mcfadden is a slippery customer.
Mcfadden is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jones should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mcfadden closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Andres Mcfadden will probably get the nod.

Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mcfadden smiles and moves away.

Jones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Mcfadden lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Mcfadden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcfadden was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Mcfadden manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mcfadden circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Mcfadden has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mcfadden wants a takedown.

Mcfadden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mcfadden moves away.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcfadden circles away.
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mcfadden counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jones takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Mcfadden sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mcfadden is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jones can do to turn this around?

Mcfadden is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jones is just riding it out for now. Mcfadden eventually gives up the hold.
