Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Satya Mahi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dr Greenthumb. Jason Brown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown wants to clinch but Mahi slips to the side
and Mahi counters with a nice body shot.
Brown throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mahi counters with a stiff right hand.
Mahi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Brown under the eye.
Brown ducks under a wild hook from Mahi.
Mahi checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mahi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Despite the aggression on Brown's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mahi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mahi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brown's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Brown's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mahi throws a jab when Brown was well out of range.

Brown drops his guard momentarily, allowing Mahi to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Brown! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Mahi takes it!

After winning the bout, Satya Mahi thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
