PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zachariah Vazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lilly Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lilly Bean was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zachariah Vazquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lilly Bean!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bean throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vazquez's waist but Vazquez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bean off to one side.

Bean has closed the distance and engaged Vazquez in a clinch.

Bean pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bean is looking to clinch but Vazquez is avoiding it.
Bean tries to clinch up.
Vazquez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Bean gets a clinch.

Vazquez pulls guard effortlessly.
Vazquez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Vazquez has momentary wrist control but Bean slips an elbow through the middle.
Vazquez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bean's guard.

Vazquez throws a strike but Bean rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Bean with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bean cracks Vazquez with a solid left hand.

Vazquez is rocked!
Bean trying to control but Vazquez is working from the bottom.
Oh Vazquez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bean postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Vazquez covers up, he's hurt! Bean keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bean and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bean can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
