Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramses Kolmas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zell Griever (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ramses Kolmas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zell Griever!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griever takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Griever dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A lazy left from Griever finds it's target.
Griever throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kolmas.

It looks like Ramses Kolmas has been cut.

Kolmas forces Griever back against the cage and clinches.
Kolmas pushes off an throws an elbow but Griever leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Kolmas has Griever pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kolmas pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Griever tumbling to the mat - Kolmas dives into Griever's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Kolmas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Griever pushes Kolmas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kolmas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Griever breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Griever's corner calls for a 1-2. Griever obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Griever, as that shot connected.
Zell Griever seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Kolmas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Griever.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ramses Kolmas.
I think Kolmas has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
