Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cary Oneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Gracias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernando Gracias is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cary Oneil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fernando Gracias!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oneil closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gracias looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gracias swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Oneil is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gracias is defending well for now.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Oneil takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Gracias bucks up and tries to throw Oneil off but instead Oneil has got his back!

Oneil is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gracias knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gracias for a finish.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Oneil accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oneil looks up at the clock and then as Gracias takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Oneil smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
