Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taj Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taj Blair has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bradley Terrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taj Blair!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Blair or perhaps it was just good defense by Terrell, which made it look bad.
Blair moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Blair has Terrell up against the cage in a clinch.

Blair breaks from the clinch.
Blair falls off balance throwing a combination
and Terrell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Blair shoots in but no luck this time.
It looked like Terrell was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Blair.
Terrell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Terrell moves into range and clinches up with Blair.

Blair turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blair stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Terrell clobbers Blair with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Blair drives through and clinches with Terrell against the cage.
A body shot lands from Terrell.
Terrell is trying to break the clinch but Blair is controlling him.

Terrell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Terrell shoots in and bounces Blair off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Terrell prevents Blair from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blair looking to hit a scissor sweep but Terrell is one step ahead there.
Blair is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Terrell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blair manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Terrell has Blair in his guard.

Terrell scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Blair throws a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Terrell throws a body shot but no joy.
Blair chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Terrell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Blair shoots in and bounces Terrell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Blair wants to get up but he can't break Terrell's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Terrell is looking for a triangle but Blair pushes his legs off easily.

Blair got a little sloppy there for a moment and Terrell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Blair has managed to get both his arms back between Terrell's legs - danger averted.

Blair looks winded!

Terrell is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Blair frees his head nicely. Oh but Terrell has switched to an armbar! Blair is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
