Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tzovalzeck tries to clinch up.
Shepard was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Shepard shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tzovalzeck but Tzovalzeck pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Tzovalzeck swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tzovalzeck closes the distance and pushes Shepard back into the cage.
Shepard keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tzovalzeck's efforts to push away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Shepard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Shepard bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tzovalzeck can't do much from the bottom here.

Tzovalzeck tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tzovalzeck is looking to cinch up a triangle. Shepard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tzovalzeck's body to avoid the submission. Tzovalzeck has instead reached around Shepard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tzovalzeck arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

After winning the bout, Balzac Tzovalzeck thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
