The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crackland shoots in for a takedown but Alves shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Alves looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alves displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crackland throws out the jab.

Alves has clasped his hands together around Crackland's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
