Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikhailu Banister!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banister tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Country defends well and Banister ends up having to push Country into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Banister tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Country swivels and escapes.
Banister shoots in but no luck this time.
Nelson Country has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikhailu Banister.
Banister has a takedown stuffed.
Country looks to land a right hand but Banister moved out of range.
Banister changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Country tries to avoid it but Banister manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Country to the ground. Country escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Country swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Country throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Banister doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Country counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Country throws a body punch but Banister moves out of range.
A left lands for Country.
Banister looks for a takedown but Country sprawls well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Country throws a hook but Banister avoids it easily.
Banister dives in for a single leg takedown but Country sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Banister moves out of range as Country strikes.
Banister fails with a takedown attempt.

Country steps into range and cracks Banister with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Banister flops backwards and Country dives into his guard looking to finish!

Banister is rocked!

Country stands up and waves to Banister to follow him.
Banister changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Country tries to avoid it but Banister manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Country to the ground. Country escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Banister avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Country stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Country wants it to stay on the feet.
Country fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Banister manages to avoid it.

A big head kick from Country and Banister is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Banister is still in real trouble! Can Country finish him?

Country gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Country drops Banister with a huge uppercut! Banister drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Country is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nelson Country!
