Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Corrida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sud Saming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Corrida might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shadowhunter. Saming has chosen Enter the Tiger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saming cracks the inside of Corrida's front leg.
Saming just misses with a punch to the body.

Corrida thumps Saming with a low kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Saming.
Corrida throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A head kick misses from Corrida.
Corrida ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Saming moves away.
We've been informed that Saming has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Corrida swings for the body but Saming moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Saming! But no joy.
Juan Corrida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corrida takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Corrida.
Corrida connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Saming lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Saming let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Donk. Corrida catches Saming right on the button with a cross.

Saming lets loose with a powerful body kick. Corrida will feel that in the morning.
Saming swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Corrida throws a solid leg kick but Saming takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Corrida.

Corrida shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Saming manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Corrida is looking to work some ground and pound but Saming has wrist control.
Saming has control of Corrida's left arm, preventing Corrida from doing any damage.

Corrida stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saming swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Corrida content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Saming has locked up a guillotine! Saming's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Corrida is holding on here and Saming must be using up a lot of energy. Corrida has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Saming gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
