Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshep Cristal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cristal closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jensen quickly recovers to half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Jensen will probably get the nod.

Cristal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jensen was covering up waiting for the punch and Cristal finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jensen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cristal won't allow Jensen to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jensen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jensen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jensen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cristal knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jensen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jensen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jensen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cristal is working away from the top position though.

Jensen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cristal's guard.

It seemed like Cristal was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Cristal has one foot on Jensen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jamie Jensen.
Well Jensen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
