Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caralho throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease.
Jones scores with a head kick. Caralho tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Caralho.
Porra Caralho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caralho swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Caralho!
Caralho throws Jones to one side and escapes!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big left from Jones misses.
Caralho throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Caralho manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jones.
Caralho tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage.
Jones pulls Caralho into guard.
Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Caralho wanted to stand there but Jones had control of the position.
Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Caralho.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Jones looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Caralho passes into side control.
Caralho has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jones is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Caralho yanks on the arm and Jones is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Caralho.
