Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Christopher Bronie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Anthony Cormier !
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cormier keeps the fight on the outside.
Bronie slips under a jab.
A combination from Bronie does no damage.
Bronie throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A slow jab from Cormier misses its intended target.
Bronie falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cormier counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bronie wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bronie drops his hands momentarily and Cormier takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bronie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bronie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cormier manages to avoid it.
Bronie slips under a jab from Cormier .
Bronie is looking to counter the offense by Cormier and move into the clinch.
Cormier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cormier lands a lovely overhand right.
Cormier looks to land a right hand but Bronie moved out of range.
Bronie has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bronie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cormier manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bronie misses with a double jab
and Cormier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cormier looks to land a left hand but Bronie moved out of range nicely.
Bronie drops his hands momentarily and Cormier takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bronie throws a right and a left that both miss.
Christopher Bronie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bronie on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


Bronie is rocked!
Cormier lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oh Bronie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bronie misses with a combination
and Cormier counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bronie gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Cormier gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Bronie is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Cormier !
During a confident post fight interview, Anthony Cormier thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
