Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Easton Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peaky Blinder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blinder has chosen Dave not Dave - Cold blood as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blinder throws a series of punches but Brooks moves out of range.
Brooks throws out a loose jab but Blinder uses good head movement to avoid it.
Blinder goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brooks blocks a head kick by Blinder.
A big right from Brooks misses.
Blinder throws a right and a left that Brooks avoids nicely.
Blinder defending well as Brooks loads up on a big left hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A clash of legs there as Brooks blocks the low kick.
Blinder lands a really nice looking cross but Brooks seems unphased.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Blinder has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Blinder shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brooks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brooks on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brooks tries to get out of the position.

Brooks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Blinder on the ground.

Blinder gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Brooks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blinder sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brooks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A lazy left from Brooks finds it's target.
Blinder lands with an uppercut that bounces Brooks off the cage and back into range.
Brooks is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Blinder will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Blinder wants to counter with a clinch but Brooks pushes him away.
Easton Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brooks misses with an uppercut. Blinder saw that one coming.
Blinder misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blinder lands with a shot to the body.
Brooks misses with a looping left.
Blinder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Brooks finds it's way round the side to connect with Blinder's head.
Brooks has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Blinder holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Blinder is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brooks is defending well for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Easton Brooks will probably get the nod.
