Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terry Mcneil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, White Boy!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boy is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mcneil's half guard.
Mcneil is staying active underneath Boy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Boy working over Mcneil with some ground and pound. Mcneil looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Mcneil is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Mcneil wants to get back to full guard.
Boy prevents Mcneil from standing back up.
Mcneil landing strikes from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Boy in particular looking to stall.
Mcneil is staying active underneath Boy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Boy is just content to waste time from the top position. Mcneil takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Boy wants to control from the top but Mcneil keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
White Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boy looking to score a takedown here. Mcneil is defending well but Boy drives through and ends up in Mcneil's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Boy wants to control from the top but Mcneil keeps moving.

Mcneil is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Mcneil is stalling here.

Boy jumps guard and drags Mcneil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Boy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mcneil makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mcneil.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Mcneil tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Boy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Mcneil throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mcneil has Boy pulled in close to control his posture.
Mcneil can't keep his opponent in guard - Boy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Mcneil kicks Boy off and gets back to his feet.

Boy shoots in and bounces Mcneil off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mcneil wants to stand up but Boy is controlling him.
Boy lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Mcneil keeping moving, preventing Boy from controlling successfully.
Mcneil could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mcneil being controlled here, momentarily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mcneil is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Boy is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but White Boy will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Boy letting Mcneil take a breather here.
Mcneil is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mcneil backwards.
Mcneil tries to break free but Boy pushes him back against the cage.

Boy lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Mcneil wants to get back to his feet.

Mcneil tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.
Mcneil is trying to control but can't.
Boy with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Boy drops an elbow to the side of Mcneil's head.
Mcneil makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mcneil.
Boy postures up.
Mcneil manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Boy manages to get himself to full guard.

Mcneil might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mcneil slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Boy.

Mcneil throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Boy wants to get back to full guard.
Boy looks like he's trying to stand up.

Mcneil decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Boy has closed the distance and engaged Mcneil in a clinch.

Boy tightens his grip and picks Mcneil up, before dumping him to the ground. Mcneil manages to land in guard.
Mcneil tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Boy trying to control but Mcneil is working from the bottom.
Mcneil wants to get back to his feet but Boy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Boy sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Mcneil keeping full guard, as Boy tries to pass.
Boy trying to control but Mcneil is working from the bottom.
Mcneil looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boy is one step ahead there.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Boy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mcneil keeping moving, preventing Boy from controlling successfully.
Boy being controlled here momentarily.
Boy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

White Boy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Mcneil instigates a clinch.

Boy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Terry Mcneil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Boy rushes Mcneil and presses him up against the cage.

Boy jumps guard and drags Mcneil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Boy isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mcneil stacks Boy on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mcneil!
Boy trying his best to control but Mcneil has mounted him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy is trying to escape the mount.
Mcneil looking to finish Boy with some ground and pound. This is bad for Boy!

Boy tries to lock up and control but Mcneil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mcneil in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mcneil can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boy is looking to escape.
Boy is trying to stand up.
Mcneil lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Boy wants to hold on but Mcneil pushes him away.
Boy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Mcneil is looking to stand up but Boy isn't so interested in that idea.

Mcneil scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Mcneil clinches up with Boy and pushes him back against the cage.

Boy has clasped his hands together around Mcneil's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boy decides to stand back up.
Boy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mcneil clinches.
Mcneil managing to block the knees to the body from Boy.
Boy wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Boy gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Mcneil gets back to full guard.
Boy trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mcneil's guard.
Mcneil has control of Boy's left arm, preventing Boy from doing any damage.
Boy won't allow Mcneil to get back to his feet.

Boy is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mcneil is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mcneil has escaped and now he's on top!


Boy has an active guard here but Mcneil has managed to pass into half guard.

Mcneil is trying to control the action in half guard but Boy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Nice strikes from Mcneil there.
Boy is trying to control but can't.
Mcneil is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Terry Mcneil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
White Boy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boy is looking to control Mcneil's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boy avoid being mounted?

I think Boy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
