The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flop shoots in and drives through. York sprawls well.
York was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Flop tries to clinch but York is having none of it.
York is looking for a counter combo.

York shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Flop is defending against the submission attempts here by York.
Flop tries to get to full guard but York has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

York manages to pull guard.
York can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flop controls the pace.
Flop trying to control but York is working from the bottom.
Flop must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
