Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Ritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Diggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sylvester Ritter!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ritter defending well as Diggs loads up on a big left hand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ritter. Diggs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Diggs has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ritter is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ritter tries to move into range but Diggs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ritter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ritter slips a straight right by Diggs.
Diggs connects with a body shot.
Ritter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Robert Diggs has been cut.
Ritter throws a series of punches but Diggs avoids them all with ease.
A nice side step and Diggs releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Ritter throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diggs on the side of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Diggs, as that shot connected.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Diggs lands with a nice body punch.
Diggs jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Ritter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Diggs takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Ritter pivots, looking for a leg kick but Diggs is out of range and Ritter settles back down.
A nice side step and Diggs releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters circling - Ritter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Diggs lands with a shot to the body.

Diggs tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ritter was well out of range. Poor timing from Diggs.
As Diggs backs away, Ritter returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Ritter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ritter was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Diggs stuns Ritter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ritter throws a shot from downtown. Diggs moves away and avoids it.
Ritter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Diggs.
Ritter misses with a few strikes there.
Diggs is looking for the big counter here.
Ritter uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diggs.
Ritter lands with a hook. Diggs tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Ritter tries to bum rush Diggs with a series of wild strikes but Diggs uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ritter looks to land a combination but Diggs avoids it well.
Diggs walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Ritter will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Ritter is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Diggs.

Ritter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Ritter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Diggs bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ritter's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diggs smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Ritter swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Diggs scores with a nice head shot.

Ritter scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Diggs is controlling Ritter's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Ritter thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Diggs is trying is best to control the position here.
Ritter is thwarting Diggs's attempts to control the position.
Ritter throwing shots but Diggs is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ritter looks to land a strike but Diggs avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ritter throws an elbow that misses. Diggs uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ritter's guard. Nice move by Diggs!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Diggs. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ritter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diggs circles away quickly and effectively.
It seemed like Diggs was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Diggs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Diggs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ritter throws a big shot that misses.
Ritter tries to move into range but Diggs moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
No joy there for Ritter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Diggs drops Ritter with a huge uppercut! Ritter drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Diggs is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Diggs!
