Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between King Pennington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Kaufman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaufman has chosen SpongeBob SquarePants as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Pennington drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Kaufman throws Pennington to one side and escapes!

Pennington drives through with a takedown into Kaufman's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Kaufman manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaufman takes a knee right on the jaw!
Kaufman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Pennington misses with some punches.
Kaufman tries to pull guard but Pennington holds him up against the cage and eventually Kaufman drops back down to his feet.
Pennington struggles to land a body shot inside as Kaufman controls his hands.

Kaufman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pennington smiles and moves away.
King Pennington has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albert Kaufman.

Pennington closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kaufman to the mat! Kaufman manages to get full guard.
Pennington knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kaufman on the ground.
Kaufman is controlling Pennington's posture.

Kaufman is looking for a triangle but Pennington pushes his legs off easily.

Kaufman looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pennington really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pennington is posturing up here but Kaufman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Pennington tries to roll out but it's too tight and Pennington has to tap! Slick submission there by Kaufman!
