Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danielos Pawiloks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deshawn Shaw will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danielos Pawiloks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deshawn Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Shaw looks like he's trying to stand up.

Shaw got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pawiloks has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Shaw has managed to get both his arms back between Pawiloks's legs - danger averted.

Shaw's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shaw's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Shaw lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Shaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
