Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kazuka Fuujin and David Luiz. Chooooooooon! I think Fuujin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to GAMBLER. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 6 losses; Kazuka Fuujin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; David Luiz!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Fuujin shoots in looking for a takedown but Luiz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fuujin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Luiz tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Fuujin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Luiz defends it nicely.
Luiz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Luiz wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuka Fuujin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luiz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fuujin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Luiz is fending him off so far but Fuujin persists. Nope, Luiz circles away and we're back to standing.
Fuujin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luiz tries to avoid it but Fuujin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luiz to the ground. Luiz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fuujin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Luiz's guard.

Fuujin is fighting to break Luiz's control of his arms but Luiz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Luiz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Luiz has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

The referee asks Fuujin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Fuujin prefers to stall for the moment though.

Fuujin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Fuujin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Luiz for as long as he can get away with.

Fuujin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
