And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalls rushes French and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Smalls looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
French breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
French looking to score a takedown here. Smalls is defending well but French drives through and ends up in Smalls's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smalls looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! French has picked Smalls up and slammed him! Smalls can't keep hold of the triangle and French manages to pass to side control!
French is trying to get an arm triangle but Smalls is defending well.
Smalls throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Smalls tries to improve position but can't.
French is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Smalls looks calm but he's in trouble here. French gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Smalls is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! French lets go of the hold and Smalls can pop his arm back in it's socket.
