Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Vos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by Beast. Vos has chosen Three Little Birds as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vos misses the shot to the body.
Ryan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That kick from Ryan tenderised Vos's leg. Vos is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ryan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Vos is looking for a sweep. Ryan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ryan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ryan's guard.

Andrew Ryan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ryan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vos's guard.
Vos tries to roll over but Ryan keeps him under control.

Vos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ryan defends well.
Ryan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Andrew Ryan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Ryan is stinking the place up with his stalling.
