Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kami Kazi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kami Kazi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazi throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kazi throws a lazy body kick
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kazi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva throws a front kick that sends Kazi stumbling back into the cage.
Kazi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kazi ducks under a wild hook from Silva.
Kazi lands with a slapping head kick.
Silva takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Silva scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Kazi moves out of range of the body kick from Silva.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kazi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Silva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kazi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Silva.
Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Kazi is just out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kazi - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kazi. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kazi throws a body kick that misses
and Kazi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kazi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kazi takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.

and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kazi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Kazi throws a lazy head kick
enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Kazi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kazi throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
It looked like Silva wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kami Kazi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kazi catches Silva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Silva is rocked!
Silva is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Kazi Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Silva is out cold, face down on the mat!

In defeat, Jose Silva stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry for the lost tonite guys but his girlfriend just gave me the best blowjob ever backstage before the fight tonite that bitch is a freak so I guess I just didn't have any energy tonite she sucked it all out I'll get him back in the rematch.'.
