The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Penzenskiy misses the target.
Sviridov jabs Penzenskiy to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sviridov lands a really nice looking cross but Penzenskiy seems unphased.
Penzenskiy takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Penzenskiy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sviridov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sviridov misses with a looping left.

Sviridov cracks Penzenskiy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sviridov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Penzenskiy to stand back up!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Penzenskiy gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Sviridov gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
