Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stephen Kaufman!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaufman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Mcneil has his feet on Kaufman's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Kaufman tries to keep at a distance but Mcneil has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kaufman is looking to break free of the clinch but Mcneil has double underhooks.

Kaufman keeps control of Mcneil as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kaufman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcneil's guard.

Kaufman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mcneil tries to roll over but Kaufman keeps him under control.
Mcneil is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mcneil closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kaufman can't find room to land a body shot as Mcneil controls the action.

Kaufman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Mcneil not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kaufman trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcneil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mcneil can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kaufman controls the pace.

That was a close second round but I would say that Terry Mcneil will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Mcneil is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kaufman presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Kaufman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mcneil regains guard immediately.

Mcneil is looking to stand up but Kaufman isn't so interested in that idea.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mcneil manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kaufman manages to get himself to full guard.

Kaufman wants to hit a switch here but Mcneil passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kaufman there!

Kaufman tries to lock up and control but Mcneil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mcneil is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kaufman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mcneil avoids the attempt from Kaufman to control.

Kaufman regains half guard.
Kaufman pushes Mcneil off looking to stand but Mcneil dives back in and keeps control.
Mcneil not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Kaufman has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Mcneil is on him like a limpet, forcing Kaufman back against the cage.

Mcneil wants to stand up but Kaufman is controlling him.
Stephen Kaufman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Terry Mcneil is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
