Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Stander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Logan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan thuds a left hand into Stander's body.

Stander looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Stander misses the target.
Logan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Stander looks to land a right hand but Logan moved out of range.

Logan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stander drops down looking for a counter takedown but Logan sprawls and moves away.

It looks like Jimmy Logan has been cut.
Logan takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Logan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stander can pounce on him.

Stander tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Logan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Stander throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Logan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

enabling Logan to counter with a crisp jab.
Logan looks to score with a jab to the body but Stander is just out of range.
Stander swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Logan swings away with a body shot that misses
and Stander counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A punch lands to the side of Logan 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Stander counters with a nice low kick that buckles Logan's knee momentarily.
Jimmy Logan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Logan jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Logan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stander. Stander obviously looking to wear him down.

Stander rushes Logan and presses him up against the cage.
Stander drops down looking for an ankle pick but Logan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Stander tries a low kick but Logan avoids it.
Logan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Crunch! Stander slams his shin into Logan's torso.
Logan misses with a jab to the body
and Stander connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Logan takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Logan punishes Stander's body with a nice straight punch.
Logan throws out a loose jab but Stander uses good head movement to avoid it.

It looks like Bobby Stander has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stander is defended easily by Logan.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bobby Stander will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Stander darts in and clinches Logan up against the cage.

Stander catches Logan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Stander moves in looking to clinch but Logan pushes him off.

Stander shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Logan has one foot on Stander's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Logan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stander.

It looked like Stander wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Stander throws a push kick but Logan slaps the foot to one side.

Logan is rocked!
Logan's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stander lands an uppercut, right on the button! Logan tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
