Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Viktor Luskey and Russell Paulman. Paulman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by War is my Love . Russell Paulman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Viktor Luskey! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 2 losses; Russell Paulman!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Luskey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Russell Paulman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paulman dives in and grabs Luskey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Luskey pushes down on Paulman's head and hops out.
Luskey shoots for a takedown but Paulman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Luskey gets tackled into the cage by Paulman. Paulman maintains the clinch.

Paulman is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Luskey can't fight it off and eventually Paulman manages to take the fight to the floor. Luskey looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Let's hope that Paulman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
It looks like Paulman might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
