The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jakob wants to get back to striking at distance but Petruzalek won't allow it.

Jakob drops Petruzalek with a right and a left! Jakob comes rushing in but Petruzalek regains his composure and manages to keep Jakob in guard.

It looks like Justin Petruzalek has been cut.

Petruzalek seems to have recovered his senses.

Jakob makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Jakob stays in close to Petruzalek's body and controls the position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jakob's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Jakob keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Petruzalek's head.

Jakob is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jakob throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Petruzalek stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jakob fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jakob drops Petruzalek with a left and a right! Oh, Petruzalek is hurt - Jakob dives into side control looking to finish!

The referee stands the fighters back up. Anund Jakob just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Jakob lands a big uppercut and Petruzalek crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Petruzalek looks OK. Jakob waves Petruzalek back to his feet!
Anund Jakob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jakob drops Petruzalek with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Petruzalek! Jakob dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Anund Jakob!
