The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ling looks to land a right hand but Patterson moved out of range.

Patterson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ling throws a nice looking combination but Patterson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Patterson drops back looking for a leg! Ling is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ling manages to kick Patterson off! Patterson jumps back into Ling's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
