Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorn Anthriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 39 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorn Anthriel!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi lands a jab to Anthriel's midsection.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anthriel can't keep his opponent in guard - Takeshi advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Takeshi uses his free foot to push down on Anthriel's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Anthriel.

Anthriel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Takeshi manages to get himself to full guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Takeshi shoots in looking for a takedown. Anthriel tries to sprawl out of it but Takeshi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anthriel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anthriel appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Anthriel bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Takeshi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anthriel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takeshi somewhat.

Takeshi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Anthriel walks away with a smile on his face. Takeshi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Anthriel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Takeshi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anthriel can do to turn this around?
Horrible takedown attempt by Takeshi or perhaps it was just good defense by Anthriel, which made it look bad.

Takeshi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Anthriel sprawls well. Anthriel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Takeshi gets slowly back to his feet.

Anthriel swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Anthriel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Takeshi.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anthriel! But no joy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Takeshi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Takeshi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Anthriel looks to land a left hand but Takeshi moved out of range nicely.
Takeshi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anthriel swivels and escapes.
Anthriel's jab looks to have found its range, popping Takeshi under the eye.
Takeshi tries for a takedown but Anthriel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anthriel! But no joy.
Anthriel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Anthriel is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Takeshi tries to clinch but Anthriel is having none of it.
Anthriel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Takeshi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anthriel's waist but Anthriel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takeshi off to one side.
A little jabbing left from Anthriel on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Oh Takeshi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Takeshi closes the distance but Anthriel moves to the side
and Anthriel counters with a left to the body.
Anthriel circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Takeshi tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Anthriel wins by KO!

Jorn Anthriel took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
