Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nico lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nico throws a lazy right hand but Neo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nico avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nico throws out a counter right but Neo avoids it with no problem.
Nico catches Neo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Neo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Nico missing with a left hand there. Neo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Neo throws a big counter combination but Nico scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Nico rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Neo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Neo feinted with a counter takedown.

Nico throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Neo is looking to control Nico's arms but Nico gets an underhook and turns him. Now Neo has his back to the cage.

Nico is looking to stand up but Neo won't let him.
Nico really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nico stands and steps away. Neo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Neo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Neo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nico looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Neo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Neo moves into range and connects with a jab.
Nico misses with a hook.

Nico lands a lovely overhand right.
Nico thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nico throws out a loose jab but Neo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Neo dives in and grabs Nico's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nico pushes down on Neo's head and hops out.
Neo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nico might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Neo lands a head shot.
Nico misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nico throws an off balance right hand
and Neo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fight stays on the outside here - Neo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nico throws out a counter right but Neo avoids it with no problem.

Neo tries to clinch but Nico is having none of it.

Nico lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Neo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nico paws at him with a jab and circles away.

No joy there for Nico, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Neo moves in looking to clinch but Nico pushes him off.
Oh Neo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Neo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nico manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A little jabbing left from Nico on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Neo seems to have got his legs back now.
Nico throws a hook but Neo blocks it.
It looked like Neo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Nico cracks Neo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nico has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Neo to stand back up!
Nico looks to throw the jab but Neo is out of range.

Nico is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Neo with a body shot.

Nico has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Neo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Nico would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nico gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Nico drops Neo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Neo looks back up at him and smiles so Nico waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Neo is looking to clinch but Nico is avoiding it.
Neo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nico manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nico drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Neo right on the button. Neo goes down! Nico follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nico gets the win via TKO!

Nicolas Nico decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
