Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renato Ibanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konor MekGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MekGregor is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: https://youtu.be/NMOUCpoLB_8. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Konor MekGregor was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibanez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in MekGregor's guard.
MekGregor wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ibanez manages to pass to side control.
MekGregor tries to roll over but Ibanez keeps him under control.

Ibanez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ibanez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. MekGregor looks a forlorn figure.
Ibanez jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but MekGregor manages to avoid the submission attempt.

MekGregor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

MekGregor has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

An out of breath Renato Ibanez thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Konor MekGregor was interviewed post fight and said 'Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn! Today I learn some things but guess what ?? I will fooking back and kill that motherfucker!!'.
