Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davey Gilly!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gilly counters with a straight right hand.
Gilly lands a nice shot to the body.
Frank tries to clinch
and Gilly counters with a nice uppercut.
Gilly has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice shot lands for Gilly.
Gilly throws a good cross that connects.
Gilly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Frank takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Frank moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gilly comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Frank pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Frank tries to clinch but Gilly is having none of it.
Nice straight punches there by Gilly. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gilly.
A left lands for Gilly.
Gilly lands a nice hook to Frank's body. Frank takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gilly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Frank stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gilly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Frank.
Frank throws a sloppy head kick and Gilly moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frank throws a head kick that misses
and Gilly counters with a three punch combo that has Frank backing up. Frank nods at Gilly to acknowledge the strikes.
Frank ducks right into an uppercut from Gilly.
A head kick by Frank misses
and Gilly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Frank blocks a head kick by Gilly.
Frank throws an off balance right hand
and Gilly counters with a nice right hand that sends Frank toppling to the canvas! Frank scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Gilly finish him?!
Frank is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frank tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Frank is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Frank throws a right and a left that Gilly avoids nicely.
Frank seems to have got his legs back now.
Frank walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gilly.
Frank is breathing heavily.
Frank needs to keep his hands up - Gilly had a free shot at his head there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gilly.
Gilly fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Gilly scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Frank doesn't seem bothered though.
Frank takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gilly thuds a left hand into Frank's body.
Gilly lands a jab to Frank's midsection.
Frank takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Frank looking to throw knees to the head but Gilly is blocking nicely.
Gilly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gilly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gilly throws a series of punches but Frank moves out of range.
Gilly slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Frank.
Gilly connects with the punch.
Gilly thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Frank if he has to take too many more of those.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Gilly.
Chris Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gilly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Frank on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Gilly lands a body shot.
Gilly feints a jab promting Frank to slip. Gilly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Frank slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Good shot there by Gilly.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gilly lands a left and a right that send Frank crashing to the mat, dazed. Gilly thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gilly is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Frank had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Gilly thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Frank if he has to take too many more of those.
Frank pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gilly appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Gilly feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Frank sprawling to the canvas! Frank rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gilly finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gilly is stalking Frank. Frank circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Gilly, and it's lights out! Frank really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Davey Gilly!
Davey Gilly gave a mention to Spartan Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
