Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nino Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh McCuistion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCuistion has chosen Sunken Hips in Space as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Nino Marques could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Josh McCuistion's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques lands with a kick to the temple. McCuistion shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Josh McCuistion has been cut.

McCuistion instigates a clinch.
Marques is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
McCuistion comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
McCuistion creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Marques's defenses.

McCuistion gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Marques is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McCuistion is controlling him.
Marques not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCuistion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
McCuistion sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marques's guard.
Marques is looking to escape.

McCuistion stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Marques to get to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

McCuistion drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - McCuistion has eaten all the pies!

McCuistion works his foot free and advances to mount.

McCuistion lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
McCuistion landing strikes, looking to finish!
Marques is breathing heavily.
McCuistion connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The referee warns Marques that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
McCuistion takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
McCuistion cracks Marques with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

McCuistion lands a big shot there that rocks Marques but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
McCuistion lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
