Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aleksei Marshal!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lewis Scott!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott misses with a low kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Marshal.
Scott uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marshal.
Scott misses with a kick to the body.
Scott throws a low kick, looking for Marshal's leg but Marshal calmly moves out of range.
It appears Marshal was looking to counter with a kick there.
Scott with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Scott scores with a sloppy right hand. Marshal should have avoided that one.
Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Marshal lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Marshal throws a sloppy head kick and Scott moves out of range easily.
Scott lands with a right hand.
Scott scores with a crisp jab that stopped Marshal in his tracks.
Good leg kick by Scott there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Marshal fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Scott.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Scott throws a low kick but Marshal avoids it.
It appears Marshal was looking to counter with a kick there.
Scott lands with a nice body kick.
Scott defending well as Marshal loads up on a big left hand.
Marshal digs a good hook to Scott's body.

Marshal catches Scott with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Scott lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Marshal walks into a stiff left hand from Scott.
Scott throws a nice looking combination but Marshal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Marshal counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Scott looks to throw the jab but Marshal is out of range.
Scott on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Marshal. Marshal obviously looking to wear him down.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scott feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marshal's calf.

Scott takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Marshal shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Scott lands with a thumping leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Marshal blocks the low kick.
Marshal looks to throw the jab but Scott is out of range.
Scott misses with a two punch combination.
Marshal half committed to a counter leg kick.
Crunch! Marshal slams his shin into Scott's torso.
Marshal goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Marshal takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Scott misses with a few strikes there.
Scott misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marshal.
Scott punishes Marshal's body with a nice straight punch.
Marshal fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Scott.

Scott looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Marshal fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Scott has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Scott is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marshal.
Marshal misses with a low kick.
Scott steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Marshal.
Marshal moves out of range of the body kick from Scott.
Marshal looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Marshal tries to move into range but Scott moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Marshal motions for Scott to come forward. Marshal throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

As Scott backs away, Marshal returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Marshal scores with a push kick.
Scott tries to land a leg kick but Marshal saw it coming and moves away.
Marshal looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Scott's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A head kick misses from Marshal.
Marshal throws a head kick that half lands.
Scott throws a leg kick
and Marshal counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Scott stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Marshal tests Scott's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Marshal tries a head kick but it misses.
Lewis Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marshal misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Scott.
Scott lands with a shot to the body.
Scott swings for the body but Marshal moves out of range.

Marshal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it.
Marshal lands with an overhand left.
Scott misses with a body shot.
Scott chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marshal can pounce on him.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Marshal checks a leg kick.
Marshal throws out a leg kick but Scott moves out of range and Marshal only half commits.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Scott tried to score with a low kick but Marshal checks it.
Scott chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Scott slips a jab and a cross from Marshal.
Scott throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marshal on the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Aleksei Marshal will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like Scott was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Scott throws a jab when Marshal was well out of range.
Scott feints and then cracks Marshal's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marshal down.
Scott fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Marshal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Marshal scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.


Scott is rocked!
Marshal tries a head kick but it misses.
Marshal swings and misses with a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scott takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Scott is still on wobbly legs! Can Marshal finish him?

Scott walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Marshal! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
