Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Larsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larsson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BRUTALITY. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Speed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Jack Larsson!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Speed, as that shot connected.
Larsson works over Speed's head and body with a nice combination.
Larsson looks to land a combination. Speed sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Larsson misses with an uppercut.
Speed throws a sloppy head kick and Larsson moves out of range easily.
Speed connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Danga de danga de dang - Larsson scores with a four punch combination!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Speed displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Larsson.
Speed connects with a crisp jab.

Speed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Speed connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Larsson some visible discomfort.

Larsson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Speed seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Speed is looking for a kimura but Larsson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Speed to get the leverage.
Larsson manages to get to full guard.
Speed won't allow Larsson to sweep him here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Speed's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Larsson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Speed throws a strike but Larsson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Larsson wants to control from the top but Speed keeps moving.
Larsson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Speed works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Speed keeping moving, preventing Larsson from controlling successfully.
Larsson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Larsson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Larsson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Speed's legs.

Larsson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Speed wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Larsson.
Speed is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Larsson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Speed to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Speed shrugs it off.

Larsson is working for a kimura but Speed is defending it quite comfortably.
Larsson is looking to take a break and control but Speed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Larsson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Speed is trying to stand back up but Larsson is controlling him
Larsson trying to control from half guard but Speed is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Larsson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Larsson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Speed lands with a straight right. Larsson didn't see that one coming.
Speed tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Larsson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Larsson now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Larsson shoots in looking for a takedown but Speed manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Larsson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Daniel Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Speed throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Larsson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Speed drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Larsson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Larsson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Larsson is looking to reverse the position.
Larsson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Speed's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Speed is trying to work for a kimura but Larsson is defending well.
Speed will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Speed throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Larsson to regain full guard.

Speed is fighting to break Larsson's control of his arms but Larsson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Speed lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Speed loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Speed scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Larsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Speed defends well.
Speed with a flurry of punches that miss.
Speed looking to sit in guard and control but Larsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Larsson slips nicely into half guard.
Speed is in trouble now - Larsson has advanced to mount!
Speed prevents Larsson from taking his back.
Speed avoids a series of strikes thrown by Larsson.

Larsson working for a guillotine from mount but Speed is in no mood to give up.
Larsson mounts Speed! Really nice guard pass there!
Speed has given up his back here. Will Larsson look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Larsson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Speed is defending well though. Larsson let's go of the attempt for now.

Larsson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Speed has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Larsson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Speed defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Larsson has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Speed is in real trouble here. Larsson gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Speed is tapping out! Larsson wins by rear naked choke!
