With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Callum Welsh!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Welsh lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Perkins gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Welsh scores with a nice body kick.
A cross from Welsh lands.
Good leg kick by Welsh there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Perkins ducks right into an uppercut from Welsh.
Welsh throws a head kick but Perkins moves out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Welsh.

Welsh moves into range and clinches up with Perkins.

Welsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Perkins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Welsh gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Perkins has gone for a leg lock! Welsh slips out almost immediately though and dives into Perkins's guard.

Perkins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Welsh controls the pace.

Welsh is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Perkins sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Perkins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Welsh circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Perkins drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Welsh follows Perkins to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
